How we rate each destination
Every destination gets the same treatment. We work out what actually matters to travellers there. Usually that's weather, crowds, and budget, plus whatever the place is famous for. Then we score each month against those preferences. You tell us what matters, we tell you when to go.
- Weather. The conditions you'll actually feel each month.
- Crowds. Peak season, quiet weeks, and the tourist waves in between.
- Budget. How prices move through the year.
- Festivals and events. The ones worth planning a trip around.
- Unique draws. Whatever each place is famous for, like surfing in Bali or cherry blossom in Japan.
